Our Doors Have Opened!

Imagine yourself spending a break away soaking up pristine luxury amidst beautiful waterside sunrises and sunsets, surrounded by the wonder of nature and majestic wildlife.

Just 90 minutes out of Johannesburg, your slice of the strikingly beautiful South African bush awaits you at Finfoot Lake Reserve. Now open for business, Finfoot Lake Reserve caters to the wildlife enthusiast, the adventurer, the businessman, or those simply seeking quiet resplendence within the heart of the picturesque South African landscape.

The 3500 hectare property overlooks the Vaalkop Dam, with 8km of unspoiled water frontage and wildlife right on your doorstep. The resort accommodates 50 guests in comfortable chalets, in addition to two Five Star luxury self-catering villas which accommodate 8 and 10 guests respectively. Guests can enjoy their stay with a host of activities from canoeing, fishing and barge cruises, to game drives, guided walks and exquisite bird watching, with over 400 species to be spotted.

As a conference venue, Finfoot Lake Reserve offers custom designed conference experiences that host up to 60 delegates, incorporating a variety of specially supervised team building activities.

Dining at Finfoot is a magical experience – be tempted with a selection of superb home-made cuisine enjoyed under the stars next to a roaring fire, or in one of our cool thatched dining areas.

We invite you to come and explore the possibilities with us.
